Positive Affirmations to Undo Our Mental Stamina

A woman in a cream sweater journals beside a sleeping golden retriever, surrounded by flowers, crystals, books, and a peaceful mountain lake beneath a pastel sky.

“If we don't use positive affirmations, negative ones will be forever rooted in our mind.”

Today, we would like to talk about positive affirmations. After all, we are all bombarded from such an early age, with so much negativity, that if we don't use positive affirmations, negative ones will be forever rooted in our mind.

These affirmations are very important, but there are some factors that need to be taken into account if we want them to have a truly efficient effect.

Understanding the Resistance of the Mind

To begin with, it´s necessary to understand that our mind always offers resistance to the new and unknown. The mind works that way, but we can always get around it.

The greatest resistance that our mind offers when we use positive affirmations, which are opposed to those that our mind believes, is not to believe. That is, the mind will receive them as a lie.

We respect the “I Am” affirmations and use them ourselves, but in the beginning these two words can offer enormous resistance that will hinder more than help.

“The greatest resistance that our mind offers when we use positive affirmations... is not to believe.”

We only recommend using such affirmations when you have sufficient confidence in yourself to do so.

If you are ready, you will feel good, happy and be truthful in affirming or listening to them. Otherwise, you will feel that you are lying, that you are being false to yourself, that is, that you are deceiving yourself.

Create Affirmations That Speak to You

Alternatively, let's make some suggestions.

As you know, each human being is very peculiar. Fears, traumas and blockages differ from person to person. No one is exactly the same.

Therefore, each of you could write your own affirmations according to what you need to transmute.

After all, nobody knows you better than yourself!

“Nobody knows you better than yourself!”

The Power of “You Are”

Now, another important point.

Instead of saying and/or writing "I Am", say and/or write "You Are".

What's the difference?

When we say I am this, our mind immediately disagrees, because there are beliefs opposite to those. In this case, there is no room for doubt, simply reject.

But when someone says you are or when we address ourselves in the third person, a space of doubt is created, that is, the mind will open a gap for the truth to settle.

“The mind will open a gap for the truth to settle.”
